Vagal Nerve Neuropathy and the Silent Reflux Connection

There are reports that vagal nerve neuropathy is the cause of silent reflux, to that it’s another issue entirely. Vagal nerve neuropathy is a condition in which the nerve is damaged and is sending wrong or weak signals to and from the body and the brain. Since the vagal nerve is connected to so many different organs, manifestations of this neuropathy can include difficulty speaking, constant belching or coughing, nausea or irregular digestion or pulse. The symptoms do seem similar to silent reflux. What are you thoughts on this? Has anyone here been diagnosed with this and if so, what is your course of treatment?
